Our Client are makers of Battery Monitoring products and services, They are looking for a full-time Sales Support Engineer to be based in Milton Keynes supporting our European operations.  Our company is a global technology leader known for delivering extremely high-quality products for over 30 years.  We help the world’s largest data centre operators protect their mission critical operations. 


The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years sales/engineering experience promoting or supporting high technology products.  We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join us who is keen to be part of our growing company. In this role you will partner with the sales leader to advance sales opportunities including, conducting site surveys, evaluating requirements, reviewing bid documents, generating proposals, conducting demonstrations, calling customers, holding face to face meetings with customers and assisting in commissioning systems.


The Sales Support role involves

You will manage and qualify leads gained via partners, event attendees, website inquiries, and via phone

Maintain full knowledge of company products and service offerings.

Generate proposals for customers

Deliver verbal and written communications with customers.

You will have targets and revenue objectives

Understand and articulate the benefits of Cellwatch battery monitoring to customer executives, consultants, partners, and professional services organisations.

Attend and contribute to client meetings/trade shows

Travel around the UK/Europe, with occasional overnight stays, will be necessary.



You will be a good fit for this role if you have

At least a 2-year technical degree

Experience in B2B Technical Product Sales

Experience creating business proposals

Strong organisational skills

Proven customer persuasion experience

An outstanding work ethic and commitment to completing tasks

Good oral and written communication skills, and have a key eye for detail

Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with customers and partners.

Excellent time management skills

Able to work well as part of a team, to achieve results.

Able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism

A ‘growth mind-set’ with a passion for learning and self-development

Self-motivated and positive with a desire to succeed and develop

You should also have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to use initiative to resolve problems. Additionally, you should be a team player and have a flexible approach to change.
