Our client who is based in Milton Keynes are looking for someone to join their growing team. You would be the first point of call for all employee’s, so there are looking for someone with great customer service, communication and telephone skills. You will need experience within HR as the role involves assisting with HR queries, general queries and transactions, you will also be assisting with HR administration.


Your day will consist of different things such as talking to a team leader regarding how to approach a difficult conversation with a member of their team, next someone could call as they are pregnant and would like to know what they need to do next and what their maternity pay etc is.  So, this role is great for someone who doesn’t want to be doing the same thing every day and offers great challenges with their customer service / HR team.

You will be working alongside other employees through telephone calls and emails. When doing this you will be expected to build great relationships with the business teams and delivering excellent advice.

Things you would be doing during your day:

  • Making sure the experience throughout the employee lifecycle at the company is run smoothly.
  • Delivering a high-end customer service experience over the phone and email
  • Confidently delivering a high-quality HR support, making sure the employees are left with a positive experience and a full understanding of their query or question.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all `technical areas` to provide a valued HR advisory service to the business.
  • Research into ways that administrative burden can be removed from the business and the employees, meaning they have more time to focus on the experience delivered to their Customers
  • Grow your understanding of employment legislation
  • Work within agreed standards and SLA`s.
  • Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with the Advisory Team in referring and resolving employee relations cases in a seamless way
  • Become an expert in HR policies and the process both within & outside the HR function
  • Take ownership of the employee queries you are working on until these are resolved
  • Making sure you provide an excellent experience to all our people 
  • Work closely with the Support Desk team leader to build knowledge and share best practice within the Support Desk team and beyond
  • Assist the Support Desk team leader to gather value adding data.
