Job description

Role Overview:

To provide admin support for our customers from placing an order through to delivery of the order in a timely and efficient manner.  To also provide administration support for external sales representatives, customers and other departments/managers as required.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Dealing with daily enquiries from internal and external customers and updating systems accordingly.
  • Answer telephone calls and effectively manage several different email accounts
  • Meet/exceed service expectations from colleagues and customers 
  • Provide support to sales reps in the form of filling, processing sample requests, quotations, project work and ad hoc administration.
  • Assessing commerciality/viability of requests made and challenging where appropriate
  • Any other administration tasks requested by line manager
  • Administer mailshots
  • Process cover cap requests
  • Support with effective management of customers including making visits (minimum 2 days per quarter which may require overnight accommodation away from home), building relationship, maintaining regular contact and being the first point of contact.

 

  • Assist with inputting sales order processing when required, undertake order checking and doing filing as needed.
  • Cover for Reception for lunchtime or absences due to sickness or holidays.
  • Additional administration support for Company training days.
  • Occasionally assist with test drive demonstrations.
  • Update customers with progress reports.
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Assist accounts department when they are short staffed.
  • Maintain and improve business processes within the role, department and wider business.
