Customer Service Administrator


Job description

Our client based in Milton Keynes is looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join the team from the 22nd January 2018. You will be given 4 weeks training to set you up to be confident to work to your responsibilities professionally and efficiently.

You will be working in a team responsible for processing over 500,000 contracts which include applications for finance and service plans and will be handling on average 15 calls per hour.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Administrator:

  • Dealing with enquiries over the phone and via email.
  • Processing proposed agreements and ensuring procedures are followed with speed and accuracy.
  • Validating documentation for proposals details when received and authorising payments.
  • Performing all related administrative duties with excellent attention to detail.
  • Pro-actively following up quoted business with retailers by chasing dealers at activation stage.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting key initiatives.
  • Maintaining your understanding of FCA regulations.

Key skills required for the Customer Service Administrator:

  • A strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service is essential.
  • Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes and cope with pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A flexible approach to work as this position involves evening and weekends.

Your new working hours will be between 9am and 8pm Monday - Friday; all employees will be required to work between these hours.

Shifts can vary between these hours - 8 hours a day, 35 hours a week. An example of your working shifts looks like this:

9am - 5pm; 10am - 6pm; 11am - 7pm; 12pm - 8 pm; Monday - Friday

9am - 5pm on Saturdays - You will be working 1 in 4.
